When my husband died recently having told me that he wanted a "direct cremation" I had no idea where to turn. A friend recommended Groves and so I was happy to go to them. Claire was understanding, sympathetic and very knowledgeable and I was glad to learn that they did direct cremations. I was informed every step of the way eg. when my husband was collected from Weston General and was then with Groves, to when the cremation was going to take place and when they had his ashes back with them. I can’t recommend Groves family funeral directors enough for their amazing and compassionate service. They provided the much needed support and understanding when my father suddenly passed away last year a week before I gave birth. Living 200 miles away I wasn’t able to be there to support my mum through the process of organising and arranging Dads funeral as I would have liked but the care and support Claire and the team gave to my mum when she needed it the most was outstanding. My daughter and I recently had the Groves Team to arrange the sudden passing of my Mum, I can't recommend the whole Groves Team enough, from the start Jackie was amazing and helped us every step of the way, she guided us with compassion and professionalism. On the day Nigel and team were excellent and even had ties to match the splash of colour Pink which was Mum's favourite. I really feel they helped Mum's service to be just what she would have wanted.
