Saint John’s College Chapel, Cambridge: A Majestic Architectural Marvel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Saint John’s College Chapel at the University of Cambridge is a stunning example of Gothic architecture and a highlight of any visit to the college. 🏰✨
The chapel's intricate design features soaring arches, beautiful stained glass windows, and a breathtakingly ornate interior that captures the essence of medieval craftsmanship.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the chapel's architecture and decoration are truly remarkable, offering a serene and reflective atmosphere. 🕊️🖼️
The chapel is not just an arch

This defining feature of the Cambridge skyline, pulls you in with its design (heavily inspired by Sainte-Chapelle in Paris). Those tall, slender windows and soaring interior. The tower however, was the generous afterthought of a wealthy benefactor. You must go inside, as the stained glass is incredible and the choir world-renowned (note, they record and perform regularly).

Had the privilege of being invited by Maggie's Cancer Centre to listen to a Christmas Musical Concert by Senata ladies Choir St John's College has a beautiful chapel and the acoustics are superb. The readings and songs were most enjoyable and a good start for beginning Christmas festivities. Thoroughly recommend you go and look round or even listen to a musical event. Great to think this place allows the public to go and participate in some of its superb facilities.

Evensong Service at 6.30, everyone is welcome to join. In my opinion, King’s College Choir is more well known but I enjoyed this one more.
Once you are in the College, you are allowed to explore it even if it’s closed to visitors.

Absolutely spectacular for a wedding ceremony. I've been lucky enough to photograph multiple weddings here and it truly is stunning.
