I didn't actually get any work done here but asked for a quote to add my mother's details to my father's on an existing headstone. The stone was only 25cm by 20cm. They quoted £325 to clean the stone prior to engraving. I took the stone to Willingham funeral services who charged £50 to clean the stone. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems to me they taking advantage of people who are grieving. Yes people are free to shop around but if they are grieving they may not have the energy or inclination.
