Stebbings is a family run funeral service that truly cares. They looked after my father in 2017 and helped us to have the cremation service we wanted for him. They were kind, compassiionate and helpful. My mother recently passed away and again the Stebbings were compassionate and caring, it took a huge weight off my shoulders knowing they would be respectful and professional, it was one less thing to worry about at a time of grief and loss.

Stebbings handled the actual funeral very well. No complaints on the day. However the communication before and after was poor and for that I would not recommend this funeral director. The following is provided as constructive feedback. When the men came to collect my father it was very awkward. Firstly, one of the men had obviously been smoking. Not a great smell....surely at 5am it could have waited till after? Then the conversation was difficult. I've never had to have a dead person removed before. I would expect them to come in with confidence and to lead the dialogue. I would have appr

Called at 10 am this morning and had to leave a message for them to call me back. They didn't call back so I called back at 4pm and the person who answered made me feel like I was an inconvenience he didn't sound compassionate at all. I chose to go somewhere else which im so glad I did because I got the kindness that I would expect after losing my lovely mum.
