I wish to thank J.C.Clarke Funeral Directors in Chester for the care, kindness, expert guidance and professionalism displayed throughout the process of the arrangement for my father’s funeral.
Myself and my mum have been taken care of so very well in such sad unexpected circumstances. We initially met with funeral service specialist Nicola Townley, who has been such an amazing support throughout this difficult process. Nicola’s expertise, kindness, calmness and eye for detail has made the process so much better than we ever thought it was going to be. A big mention also for Nicola’s colleague

We were deeply impressed with the outstanding service provided by J C Clarke Funeral Directors in Chester. From start to finish, their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail made a difficult time much easier for our family.
A special thank you goes to Claire Vickers, the Celebrant, who led the service with such warmth and understanding. She truly captured the essence of our mother’s life and delivered a tribute that was both moving and personal.
We are also incredibly grateful to Kylie, our Funeral Director, whose calm presence and expert guidance helped us navigate every step

We were very impressed with all the staff at J C Clarke who arranged and oversaw the detail of my father’s funeral yesterday.
We were kept well informed at the various stages of the arrangements and following a conversation with the lead funeral director the day before we had complete confidence in the proceedings as they unfolded on the day itself.
Andy and the team guided us through and were particularly sensitive and caring to my step- mother and her needs.
Thank you all very much.

Which I feel is far to long following a death. Also when I asked why we hadn’t been notified we were told it wasn’t protocol to tell family when a direct funeral was taking place. Well that must have changed over last year because my mum died Nov 2024 and we k

My mother had a 17 year old pre-paid funeral plan with JC Clarke. Her guaranteed plan was for embalming then taken by herself to Chester (Blacon) crematorium and cremated there. My mum wasn't embalmed and she was driven in the funeral van almost 50 miles up the motorway and cremated at Stockport..a funeral she would
