What people say

★★★★★
Professional to the nth degree. Kind, compassionate, polite and caring. Anna at the Bromborough branch was extremely patient as we negotiated the unknown. Attention to detail and advice given was exceptional and transport was of the highest quality down to the mints and tissues in the cars. They made a very difficult experience bearable I cannot sing praises any higher and I have instructed my family to use Charles Stephens when it is my turn to go, knowing that I and my family will be treated most respectfully.
★★★★★
Both my parents were looked after so well at Charles Stephen’s Bromborough office. My Mum in 2020 and Dad just recently in November 2025. Anna at the Bromborough branch was wonderful. From our first meeting, to making all the arrangements we required. She is friendly, courteous and respectful. On the day Rachael and the team were so professional. Again they were courteous and respectful. Carol Mitchell our Celebrant was equally wonderful. She came to our home in Liverpool and did a lovely job of taking our description of Dad and giving a beautiful Eulogy of him. Everything went so smoothly for
★★★★★
Our experience of Charles Stephens taking care of my dad when he passed was perfect in every way. Dad died in a care home at 11.30pm on a Friday. The out of hours collection went seamlessly and I received a polite and respectful phone call on Saturday morning informing me that dad was now in your care. On Monday morning I arranged a meeting for myself, my wife and my brother with Anna Campbell-Lea at your Bromborough office. Anna went through everything we needed to know in a friendly and efficient way. We went to see dad in your chapel of rest. Again, the staff there could not be faulted and

I can not praise this company enough, they are extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble. The care, empathy, sensitivity, respect and professionalism they showed towards mum was heartwarming. So much so that my husband and myself are going to take out a funeral plan with Charles Stephens. Overall the service we received was expertly provided and would highly recommend this company.
★★★★★
The team at Charles Stephens provided an exceptional level of care from start to finish. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the service, and both Richard and Anna were incredibly sensitive, supportive, and professional throughout. We used them for Dads funeral over 30 years ago and now for Mums and it could not have been better. The cars were immaculate, the staff uniforms were flawless, and the entire team conducted themselves with dignity and respect. Their thoughtful guidance made a difficult time more manageable, and we are truly grateful. Highly recommended.
