Lovely, caring service from both the Stockton Heath and Sankey branches. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Special thanks to the lovely lady who led the funeral car and even parked our cars for us. Many thanks.

I used houghtons in Stockton heath to have some of my grandads ashes put into a necklace and they were so helpful even after the funeral they gave me their time, much appreciated.

Thank you for such a lovely experience, you made it much easier to deal with all the arrangements and especially on the day.

Very thoughtful, detailed and professional services providers whilst being responsive to our requests as a family. Would highly recommend.

Made a hard time even more harrowing. Serious gaps in staff training and a spineless company director who threatened bailiffs while an incorrect invoice was being disputed, serious lack of communication about funeral plans and sent an obituary with wrong name used to print in local newspaper without discussion or approval from family. The distress Houghton’s caused my family went on for months as despite acknowledging where they went wrong they could not come to any fair conclusion themselves and we had to escalate this to the National Association of Funeral Directors.
