Wonderful hidden gem. We stayed at Burton farmhouse as a last minute getaway this last weekend for two nights and can’t fault it!
Beautiful area, very quiet and peaceful on a lovely working farm.
We checked in late with no issues, only 5 mins from hope cove and 10 minutes to salcombe. The room itself was great, really comfy large double bed, fridge and tea/coffee all provided. Clean and tidy. En-suite bathroom was great with excellent water pressure in the shower. Lovely big garden out the back with children’s play area and a seating area with bbq and pizza oven. We (4-adults) stayed in the family room as we had a wedding in Hope Cove. The room was very comfortable. The farm is set in beautiful countryside and being a working farm is full of the hustle and noise you would expect. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice and all fresh. Lovely touches all over the place. Only wish it was slight!y warmer so we could eat breakfast outside. An excuse to go back when warmer! Definitely recommend.

We stayed there for a couple of nights. The location was great. The room Was spacious but the beds were old and not very comfortable. They didn't provide breakfast either. We couldn't find anyone to ask about breakfast.

Although the company was great I must say the stay was disappointing. We arrived to a warm welcome but soon discovered the heating in our room didn't work. The electric heater was replaced quickly and then we discovered the remote for the television didn't work! This was not replaced. After a cold nights sleep (I was reluctant to leave the heater on overnight) we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. This was the best part of our stay. After a days sight seeing we returned to the farmhouse. We had two young children with us and ask if it would be possible to have any dinner for them, even a sandwich. Al
