When I first met Damien, I think I was in a state of shock after the death of my dear Mum: I managed to be business like, but as time passed, I felt my confidence in myself slip away and Damien was absolutely brilliant in the way he handled the whole procedure. He was so gentle and helpful and never in the least stressed. My mother's cremation was a beautiful and very personal service, expertly conducted by Damien and his team. Damien was superb in helping us on the death of our dear mum. He explained all our choices and everything we needed to do. The service held at Homelands was, 'As good as it gets,' under sad circumstances. The recommended Rachel Henderson did a great job of the service whilst Damien was as respectful, dignified and as supportive as possible. When you lose a parent it’s an emotionally challenging time. Finding people to genuinely help with the mountain of subsequent issues is not easy.
We dealt with Damien at Christopher’s who was just such a person in taking care of everything around the funeral, church service and burial. Hugely supportive, professional and easy to talk to, Damien and the team took care of the hardest part for my family.

Losing a loved is a traumatic event, I did not know what to expect or what to do when arranging a funeral. Christophers Family Funerals collected mum from our home shortly after she had passed.
