Paul and Birta showed my Dad deep respect after he died and was resting at the funeral parlour. Which is also a beautiful place. Dressing dad just so that, he appeared to have just nodded off as he lay in rest.
During the process of having to choose type of funeral, coffin, ceremony or no ceremony, Paul was caring and gentle, recognising mine and my family’s needs but, also how my dad might have chosen. No big sell or pressure to do the ‘traditional’ thing.
This resulted in a perfect small gathering at the crematorium with minimal fuss yet poignant and loving.
For a ‘celebration of life’ for D

Mum chose wisely in nominating Heart and Soul for her funeral.
You enabled us to express our love and grief and to say ‘Farewell’ to June’s unique and precious soul in the best way possible. Together with you we co-created a ceremony that truly reflected her values and interests. No-one will easily forget the words, music and the ritual at the ancient yew tree. Indeed, several people have said it was the best funeral they had been to.
I also felt supported by you every step of the way - above and beyond what we expected. I think you genuinely live up to your name.

Combining efficient, professional service with compassion and care, we found Heart and Soul to be the most amazing company to organise our mother's funeral. Simon patiently took time to contact all relevant people in her life, and created a fitting, heartfelt eulogy for her service. I cannot recommend them highly enough, thank you.

When we knew our time together was coming to a close we knew what we didn't want funeral wise but not what we did, until we came upon Heart & Soul & then we just knew & thankfully with Paul & Birte quietly & respectfully stepping in exactly where & when we needed them it was clearly the right decision.A heartbreaking time made just a little bit easier. Thank you.
