My husband has been a resident in Silverleigh for some time now. The care and kindness he receives daily is quite outstanding. Recently, on the occasion of his birthday, the wonderful staff organised an extra special day for him. The Chef baked a fantastic Birthday cake , his room was decorated with "Happy Birthday" banners and balloons and several of the care staff sang "Happy Birthday To You" which was accompanied by a guitar. Silverleigh is an Outstanding Care Home with a warm and homely atmosphere. There is a large team of hard working staff who are well led by the Manager. They are always kind, smiling and helpful, whilst treating residents with respect and understanding their needs.
The Nursing Team are excellent having many years of experience. They are gentle and compassionate, the residents well-being is at the heart of everything they do.
Meals are well presented and appetising. There are several choices for each meal served by the staff. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day.
