Sadly my mother passed away in October 2023 . We contacted Tim from James Brothers, who came to visit my sister and I to discuss the funeral arrangements. Tim was absolutely wonderful , kind , understanding and professional. We arranged my Mothers funeral, from casket to order of service. Tim handled everything with great sensitivity. The day of the funeral was wonderful and went very well indeed. Supported by Tim and James Brothers. A huge thank you .

This kind, calm and very experienced family firm has been there for my family on two occasions now. They supported us through the funeral ceremony for our Father in 2015 and again recently, when we lost our beloved Mum in the thick of the 2020 lockdown crisis: Despite not being able to have many people attend the Cremation, nor have a wake, the very traditional funeral procession from outside Mum's home actually proved to be just the right sort of 'goodbye'. Thank you Tim and all at James Brothers, for everything! Jo, Geoff & Family.

On Behalf of the family Thank you for the kind and caring service you gave with my mother’s funeral recently. I know it took a few phone calls to get the vicar and then we had two! Mother would have said “What a fuss!” It was a lovely service for such a lovely mother. Thank you again Bridget Edwards (2010)

I would just like to say a big thankyou to James brothers for their sympathetic and respectful service . They were very helpful and accommodating to me under difficult circumstances following the death of my son. I couldn't have wanted any more than what they did. Thankyou so much .

Thank you for the kindness which you afforded mother, the family and myself during these last days, invited us into you home and aided us with all the details of the arrangements, and mother could not have been attended by better people.
