What people say

★★★★★
Words cannot express how brilliant Payne & Sons are. They took excellent care of my Dad after his sudden passing with great compassion and professionalism. In particular Emily, Lee, Karen and Molly were great, always quick to answer any questions and arrange any accommodations without judgement. The care and service they provided I believe would be hard to match, which is always important when considering who is going to be guiding you and your family through difficult circumstances.
★★★★★
We, as a family, cannot recommend Payne and Sons enough. Emily took care of our dad with such care, thoughtfulness, and warmth. She was incredibly accommodating and generous, especially when navigating time-zone schedules with my brother and me (living in Australia). Emily was by our side throughout the whole process, helping to cultivate a profound and memorable day for us. We’d also like to thank the wider staff who accompanied us through the process and on the day itself, all with such gentility, kindness, and respect. Thank you, Payne and Sons.

The staff at Payne & Sons ( Hampden Park) were so kind, thoughtful, professional, and understanding at arranging my father's funeral. He died early December 2024, and they stepped up and made all the arrangements for the family being so close to Christmas. We couldn't fault the services they performed from Tara in the office from the very first appointment to the funeral director (Ian) on the day of the funeral(10th January 2025). We owe them a huge thank you for being so kind and gentle with dad. Thank you Paynes and Sons.

I have ordered a memorial vase for my mother’s grave in April & paid a deposit. I live abroad & returned last week for my mother’s internment. I called in to see the funeral director last week and was assured that I would receive a phone call nothing happened. I called again Thursday & Friday nothing ? This morning I called & after a 5 minute wait was told I could ring the Stone mason direct. Well is this the way to treat grieving FAMILIES. NO HELP & Don’t care I have your money. Still no vase. Very unhappy customer.
