★★★★★ Gullane House Garden is open for charity on Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st July from 2 - 5 pm on both days.
The mature gardens are at their midsummer best and as an added bonus the Liriodendron tulipifera tree is flowering for only the second time in 35 years.
Known as the Tulip tree for the shape of its leaves, the flowers are cup shaped and pale yellow with bright orange markings and the 12 metre tree is covered with them.
Well worth a visit for this tree alone.
