She kept us informed at every step of the way and made this difficult time as gentle as possible. I was thrust into the position of having to arrange the funeral of someone I didn't know and to act as Executor for him (long story connected to a charity that the deceased wanted to support, of which I am a volunteer) - Fortunately the gentleman had prepaid for his funeral with East Of England's Wivenhoe branch, where I had the wonderful experience of meeting Maria, who made the whole task of approaching this and getting help and support from the local community, so much easier for me. Sadly lost both my parents in a few short weeks. I received wonderful attention from Maria at my local Kemble's office. She was totally professional throughout all meetings, but also had a gift of knowing when to 'lighten' the mood for me. She helped me achieve my wish to carry a veg trug for dad, and cakes for mum at their funerals. Maria was there every step of the way for me. I still see her occasionally and she feels more like a lovely family friend now.
