From the first phone call all of the staff were compassionate and understanding. Certain arrangements were amended to accommodate numbers and a bad traffic accident and nothing was too much trouble. Everything went smoothly allowing me to give my son a perfect send off.

Absolutely bad customer service no compassion and respect and staff are rude and arrogant we used barlows for years but never again they not only chipped and scratched my late father covin they didn't dress him pr take hand prints or shave him there no compassion since gone corporate its literally one in one out service and staff are rude had numourse reply back and forth and got told take it to the national funeral association wich i will

In the past we've always used Barlow's but would never go there again since the Co-op have taken over. Our mum passed away last August and what we asked for we never got the list is endless. In house communication was never passed on. They lost our mum's file with her fingerprint's and my brothers information in it. After endless visits and phone calls to the chapel of rest and saying I wanted to make a formal complaint, eventually mum's file was found after four months, a child could have taken her prints better. I made a formal complaint to head office and after numerous emails I got a respo

What a letdown! My family has used this company for over 50 years. But joining with the Co-op they have now lost the personal touch. Tried to arrange my mums funeral, to be told she couldn’t go in the chapel of rest until a few days before the funeral and she would stay at a “holding centre” in Salford. (Sounds like a warehouse!) This meant I would not see my mum, as, it was going to be 3 weeks before the funeral. Therefore it would then be a closed coffin. Also, then told, that , they do not get involved with the donations received. So , be aware, that when you are organising a funeral, you a
