I cannot recommend and thank co op funeral care at Blackley enough. They arranged my mum’s funeral which was done with great care and thoughtfulness. Also the aftercare was amazing. Shannan was supportive, mindful and took great care to help me organise my mum's funeral. I chose a bespoke funeral, adding cultural ritual and traditions into the proceedings. Shannan sought the appropriate celebrant and liaised with them to arrange exactly what I needed to help my mum on her way . Done with absolute care, diligence and attention, respect and thoughtfulness. I cannot commend enough, the effort by Shannan, Sarah and the rest of the co-op on Victoria Avenue. The staff went above and beyond for us and made what was a difficult time so much more manageable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Allow me to be frank, what started off as a dignified and respectful service descended into criminality and support of someone who broke the law and co-op failed despite several instances to uphold the law and protect those who the law protects at the most vulnerable time in their lives. My mum passed away unexpectedly and as only child with no grandparents my world fell apart. My mum left me assets which had been stolen from me by the second father figure/ lodger and used what my mum had left for her only child to pay for her funeral without my knowledge However the issue relating to the co-o
