We paid in over 3k. They sold out to Dignity so we cancelled. We are yet to see a penny back. This was in October 2022. I have had to take life. Insurances to cover the cost of funerals. I don't have the strength to keep on at them. I have emailed, telephoned and written. If what is stated in these reviews is true and they are sister companies, then I can kiss that money goodbye.. There isn't even a law which protects us because they weren't regulated. They are just thieves.

Do not buy their plans. They don't deserve any star rating. I took out two plans for my family. Since the market offered better plans, opted to change. At the time of cancellation, they tell me that my plans are different than what I originally signed for. Took 2 Gold plans and paid identical amounts on both and I have all the relevant paperwork. Though their systems show that one plan is Gold and one Silver??? Secondly, their cancellation fees are high (£595 + admin. cost of around £250-£300) depending on how long you have paid in. I paid for 2 years and those were my cancellation charges. Al

This company through one of their subsidiaries sold a plan to my mother, they issued a funeral director to her that was miles and miles away in a town she had never heard of then claimed to have made a follow up call to ensure she was satisfied with it. She did not receive this call as she would never have accepted a location she didn't know. then she moved and they issued another one that was still a long way away. There was no negotiation, no asking if it was ok, it's just the one they use so it's the one they give you! She spent ages trying to speak to someone to say it wasn't any good

I cancelled my funeral plan. Just looked on my bank statement and have taken £60.84 from my bank account. This company don't seem to know what they are doing. Not had a good experience when trying to contact them.

Very shoddy company to deal with. My late father took a bronze plan out he paid £2495 for this plan. When we contacted the undertakers about the plan they had a great problem finding the policy but hold on the actual amount that this plan pays out is £1300 pounds for the funeral. We phoned pride planning and spoke to a gentleman called reas we asked him to provid a full break down of the costs. At this present time there has been no break down arrived in the post very strange. The funeral directors are absolutely furious with pride planning and how they conduct there business.
