25/11/2025 Went to see my Mum today. Losing your Mum is the worst and most painful experience of my life. Of anyone’s life. No matter the circumstance. Luckily I had my Wife Kirsty supporting me. Literally. I was welcomed by a lovely lady. I explained that I wasn’t given the chance to see my Mum in hospital, and was unable to say my goodbye to her before her passing. The lady gave me a lovely smile and said that I can do that now. And I had all the time I needed. Nothing prepares you. Nothing. That’s my Mum. She was well cared for. Silly I know but you do worry about your loved one being alone

R Banks and Son's recently took my cousin Ben into their care, and looked after him and my family during this extremely hard time. They executed his funeral with dignity and respect. I am a Celebrant, based quite far away in Hertfordshire, and I took the service. Its was a pleasure to work alongside their wonderful FD and all the rest of the teams there.
