The Co-op funeralcare Portchester did my nan's funeral back in November and were outstanding.
Elaine was so kind, patient and understanding, and made a daunting process so much easier.
She helped with designing the order of services and she even stayed later one evening to allow our family to decorate her coffin, which we found was such an emotional and beautiful way of saying goodbye. We appreciated it so much, and won't ever forget how her kind words and empathetic manner helped during a difficult time.

I cannot speak highly enough of Elaine at the Co-op Funeralcare Portchester. The care and compassion she showed me and my step daughter Maria was incredible. She held our hands all through such a sad time with my wife and Maria's Mum, Sarah's passing. Elaine arranged a fitting tribute to my wife that made her funeral a celebration. Elaine also recommended a Celebrant (Justin Standfield) to deliver the eulogy and he was an excellent choice.

Excellent and empathetic service at a very low time in my life. Elaine and David, the staff at Portchester handled the arrangements with kindness, skill and efficiency. The funeral director Malcolm and his team were excellent as was the celebrant Nick. This was not a simple funeral as my wife was intered in a family grave but this was handled excellently with no problems on the day.
