🌳I love coming here. It’s a peaceful place. It’s a true resting place. 🌱
Nature. Reflection. Love.
A young tree is planted for each person. Some woodland is already mature, other parts are still meadow. Plants are native, wild flowers, many would be considered weeds in a garden, but are loved by bees butterflies and insects here. Stunning all year round.

A very different and beautiful place to place loved ones to rest. Having been a few times visiting and as a mourner in sunshine and gloom it’s lovely and peaceful. As the woodland grows over time it can only become better and a nice memorial to those here.

Such a lovely idea, a burial in what will soon be a forest. Its next to a Roman road and a short distance from an Iron age hill fort. It is let and managed by a local farming family. A calm place full of native woodland flowers and trees, with water (stream) at the far end from the entrance. Small hard standing area for vehicles, which I have never seen crowded. Open 24/7/365 for visiting the permanent residents. Plenty of logs to sit on and the odd bench but NO rest room facilities.

A very natural place for a woodland service - has a shelter for the service (no sides and if the weather is blowing it can be difficult to hear) Its a lovely quiet and peaceful place for a memorial Just a shame that it rained on the day so can only imagine the lovely pictures that are up Funeral directors for the day were great
