Just over 2 weeks now since my mum's funeral. We went to Phillips as they were local in Marshalswick and met a lovely lady Judy who explained everything in a helpful but very understanding way. She kept in touch with us regularly and on the day was contacted by the funeral car lead undertaker who again briefed us as to what we should expect and do. Afterwards, there was no rush for us to leave to attend our celebration of mum's life. They were forever respectful at every step of the way. Everyone at Phillips was so kind and considerate and made a difficult day go without problems for us. Thank

From the moment I met Katrina Strange at Marshalswick branch, it was like she took over all of my worries, and her professional approach was impressive. I didn't know where to start but up to the cremation service, it was handed with such respect, and care. It made me feel proud that all the service was such that I felt my mum's farewell was well over my expectations,, everyone involved in making this funeral service was so nice and professional. I truly feel my mum had a caring service. Also a big thanks to Laura from the main branch of Phillips, she treated the procession of the coffin to

We recently used Phillips Funeral Directors to look after our Mum and co-ordinate her funeral. Judy showed compassionate respect and her quiet professional steer was outstanding. I will never forget my Mum arriving outside her home in the hearse and the family being given time to take in the enormity of the day, while the drivers stood in guard of her. Once outside the chapel the pallbearers stood in silence with such dignity and respect. They made a very sad day bearable, thank you.

This is the second funeral that I have had to organise with Philips and they make the process as stress free as possible. The service provided on the day is impeccable and I have nothing but praise for the team. The organisation and communication with the Independent Celebrant was first class too. She captured the character and personality of my wife to a tee, although they had never met. The administration is also very good , excellent communication and support. The only thing that they let themselves down with was poor proof reading, getting information that they already had wrong on two occ

Wow, what a nasty shock. I have used Phillips in the past for my Nan and my mum and their approach from start to finish was exemplary and full of careful navigation and above all empathy. For that reason, I have always recommended their services. Sadly, my experience trying to organise another close relative's funeral with them was nothing short of shocking. The conversation started that I would like to discuss a funeral and the man was quite flippant and offhand in his response, 'what funeral?'. I said I was looking into funerals and costs and was about to inform him of who had passed when
