I can not recommend Chenery's enough. They were amazing from the first moment we walked into their office to seeing them at the service.
They handled every aspect from setting up a just giving page for Hospice donations to recommending an amazing Celebrant for the service.
We were original going to go with a bigger local chain but after meeting with Chenery's we immediately changed our mind as they offer a personal service during a incredibly difficult period which included coming to our house to talk through the service which we were not offered else where.

My brother left this world 5 years ago and from the first day of contacting Chenery Funeral Services I have never felt so much love, compassion and understanding. Every year I visit my brother's ashes that are still at Chenery 's. This year the special day that celebrates the love of the relationship between brothers & sister's fell on a Sunday. Although they were closed they still came to open the doors so I could spend a few minutes with my brother. They go over & beyond my expectations. At the very sad time of my father's death, Chenery's could not have done more. From the very first time we as a family met in their office for the initial arrangements, to the day of the funeral itself, everyone was so kind and thoughtful whilst at the same time, seamless at arranging the legal paperwork. They even go further by organising an In Loving Memory Service at St Mark's church in Hitchin which gives comfort to a great number of people who have lost someone. Thank you.
