I was very pleased with the way Francis Chappell & Sons managed my mother’s funeral. Karen at the Sevenoaks branch was first rate at being sympathetic for our loss and efficient at getting everything together for the funeral. We had taken out a funeral plan which meant that all we now had to pay for was the extras like flowers, music and order of service stationery. All of were of very high quality. Richard led the events on the day but had contacted us a few days before to ensure everything was in place and would go ahead as we planned. In summary, I found Francis Chappell a first class funer

Today 11th Feb 2026 Francis Chappell were so kind and helpful with my dear Husband Ken funeral , the day went so well Jack at home and then at the Chapel made me feel so calm and explained everything so well. Walked into a few funeral shops in Sevenoaks and after speaking to a few of the staff in the various shops ,I picked Francis Jones .The staff member I met called Karen was professional ,caring & very dedicated .Her team of staff (including lead pall bearer Jack ) & the amazing celebrant Pauline were perfect in giving my late mother the send off she deserved . My family and I have been overwhelmed by the care, kindness and support provided by the whole team at Francis Chappell and especially by Karen and Stuart.
Having not left the house for many months due to caring for my husband, Karen and Stuart offered to come and visit us at home in order to make the arrangements and guide us through planning for the funeral. This was such a relief and made the whole process so much more bearable at such a sad and difficult time.
We were supported at every step in the most calm, sensitive and professional way and we have all hugely appreciated everything, espe
