Funeral directors were brilliant for my grandads funeral but the officiaries wife who was given task to communicate with me about speech writing should not be in that role as she was harsh, stern, lacking compassion and pushy. I was expected to have a speech ready within a few days and it caused emotional shut down at a time of grieving and emotional distress. I was not allowed to do a speech because it wasn't ready for the deadline the Friday before the funeral which was the following Monday. Absolutely no flexibility was offered on this despite my stating I'd been ill which was caused by emo
