Quite an incredible view accompanied by an incredible walk. You quickly move from town vibes to nature as you enter does park. The walk up to the top of the hill is quite breathtaking with ocean, town and hilly views. A beautiful breathe of fresh air.
★★★★★
Nice walk up to the monument with superb views from the top . There are 2 or 3 different routes available , ranging from easy to hard , it takes about 20 mins to walk up . Nice attraction for Ulverston. Good to get your steps in !
★★★★★
Nice to walk to this monument. It's about 20 mins climb and 20 mins down on almost flat surface. You can see both mountains and the sea from up there.
★★★★★
Walked up from Ford park when the Saturday park run was cancelled. Was a good, fairly steep, walk to the top in the early morning and was rewarded with the spectacular view as the sun was coming up. We returned via path going left as you leave the monument. This was a longer, less steep walk.

A lovely walk. It is on a hill, it’s far from flat and even terrain. Definitely a job for your trainers. Not too far. About a mile up and a mile down. Google maps says will show you the way up! No cafe. Grab a coffee from the Orangery at the bottom of the hill after. Not buggy/pram friendly! Cracking view at the top.
