I cannot say enough about the professionalism and compassion shown during such a difficult time. The gentleman who provided the cremation service was incredibly kind, respectful, and understanding, which brought a great deal of comfort when it was most needed. He handled everything very quickly, which is what I needed. A particularly thoughtful touch was taking small locks of my dog’s fur in case I wanted to keep some, which meant more to me than words can express. I’m deeply grateful for the care, empathy, and respect shown to both my beloved dog Holly and to me.

When my beautiful cat Cooper passed away last week, the whole world seemed to dim. In the middle of that dimness, Derek appeared with a calm so genuine that it felt almost heaven sent. There was an immediate clarity, a feeling of instinct that this was where Coopy should take his final leave. The setting itself was magical. A family run business, a farm opening into wide beautiful views. They offered same day cremation and allowed us to leave small mementos with Cooper, a gesture that mattered more than you would expect.

I contacted Derek when my beloved springer spaniel lost his battle with epilepsy 6 days before Christmas. He was only a year and a half. The journey up to Coastal View was quite remote & isolated but Derek's greeting was not. He was very calm & understanding and took me through my options with professionalism & sensitivity. I collected my dog a couple of days later, where I actually took slight comfort from the remote surroundings - my dog would have loved a walk up there ! Nobody ever really wants to visit places like this, but I thank god that they do exist. Thank you Derek for treating

I can’t recommend Coastal View Cremations and Derek enough. From my first enquiry Derek was absolutely lovely to deal with. I took my lovely old Spaniel to him for cremation, and he treated both her and I with kindness and compassion. We talked through what I wanted and then he left me alone to say my final farewells giving me plenty of space and time. In what was a difficult and very sad time, I felt Derek really cared, treated Fudge with dignity and made every effort to make the process as smooth and calm as possible.
