I've only had to use funeral directors for my parents, most recently for my Mum, who's funeral was this week. I couldn't have asked for a better or more personal service for my Mum, and am really grateful to all who contributed to make my distressing experience, far less distressing. The little touches that they provided made Mum's funeral very much hers, and made me feel like her funeral was special. They took care of everything I requested in such an understanding way. I felt that Layton Funeral Directors looked after me and were very reassuring, which is what's needed in times of enormous stress and grief experienced when a close relative passes (in this case my mum). Susan is very approachable and they are prepared to be flexible and tailor a funeral accordingly if you have any issues or special requirements.
