Arranging a funeral for someone who passed away at a relatively young age and unexpectedly is always going to be difficult, made harder by the fact that the person concerned wouldn't have wanted funeral. We were set to plan a direct cremation, until we were repeatedly asked when the funeral was going to be, we felt like we needed to mark the occasion but this couldn't be a regular funeral.
After our initial chat and discussing our suggestions, We purchased the casket from a 3rd party and had it delivered to the funeral home, arranged our own flowers (using the motorbike helmet of the deceased

Absolutely lovely staff at the cooperative funeral-care, took care of my mum as if she was their own & looked after us when we visited to sort my mums day out. Especially Jenny who did an amazing job with helping us with my mums day (I say day bcoz I don’t like the “F” word 😑), Jenny is a lovely kind lady inside & out, she deserves more than a 5🌟rating I doubt we would of been able to do it without her so thank you and the coop for your service.
