They have too much good stuff. A lot of classic blu ray and dvd an good magazines and books
★★★☆☆
A rightfully praised organisation: resourceful, accomplished and a dedicated destination for experts, cinephiles and enthusiasts.
Surprisingly then the relocated shop be neither comprehensive nor authoritative, seemingly a complementary adjunct to the “business at hand.”
That’s not to be dismissive nor to imply it lacks merit, merely somewhat insubstantial.
A selection of DVD’s, Blu-Ray, books, screen guides, magazines, posters, associated ephemera and a dabble of cards aside the box office setting.

Nice shop... but...
A few years ago I accidentally bought an expensive 4K version instead of a normal Blu-ray. There wasn't even a 4K label on the front so it was easy to mix it up (not that this is BFI's fault).
I noticed my foolish mistake when I returned to Ireland. So a few months later I returned to London to hopefully get it refunded, but they wouldn't let me. I was quite disappointed, as I wasted tons of money. Now I'll have to sell it.

Very unreliable customer service. I walked an hour in the pouring rain only to find the store closed. That’s not what the online postings say. If you cannot trust them to be open when they say where’s the quality of the BFI experience. Waste of my time. I was only in London for a few days.

Never order anything again at this shop. Pre ordered Ghost Stories for Christmas 2 months ago. Release was a month ago Still not dispatched. They don't answer to emails or phone anymore. A harrowing shopping experience.
