Little park in Pentonville Road, Islington, where Joseph Grimaldi is buried. He was the first clown to look like we expect clowns to look like today. He has a grave that you can dance on which makes musical notes. Unfortunately when I went a lot of the notes weren't working.

My visit to Joseph Grimaldi Park was a memorable one, and I found myself captivated by its unique blend of playfulness and tranquility. I visited the place during the office lunch hour and love the musical grave (not an actual grave so do not be afraid to dance on it). The installation is called ‘An Invitation To Dance On The Grave’. It consists of two coffin shaped “graves”, made of bronze tiles, that chime musical notes when you step on them. To this day Grimaldi’s grave is a pilgrimage destination for modern clowns.
This park is a gem hidden within the city, offering a haven for nature lov

Next to a popular playground. A lot of greens and benches. Flowers and trees. Nice to place for a peaceful time.

A lovely small park. The perfect place to enjoy a break from work at the lunch time 👍

Park is sectioned onto about 3 parts, went with a friend to see Mr Grimaldi's grave and to dance on his musical grave bit which are about 40m apart, a nice space with an unseen but heard ring necked parakeet in the trees.
