The service I received from the Kennington team were brilliant, especially Joan who helped me with arranging my mums funeral and Mark the funeral director. Both were amazing and professional throughout this difficult time. This was the first time I had to arrange a funeral and Joan guided me through the process at ease. My heartfelt thanks to everyone on the team.

Ashtons Mexwell funeral directors Kennington branch have been amazing in organising my mother's funeral. From the time she was collected after she died at home to the time we got her ashes back after the cremation, they have shown compassion to us all the way through this process, we can't thank Joan and her team enough, helping us with all the arrangements and their advice as its the first time I have ever organised a funeral. They done everything we asked of them and I can't thank them enough as it was hard to organise after losing such a special person to our family but they made the proces

We used Ashton's funeral services for my brother's Daniel cremation. My sister's and I went to their Kennington branch to make arrangements. We met Joan Cousins who talked us through the process . Joan arranged the crematorium, flowers, minister and cars. On day of Dan's cremation the car's arrived on time with all the flowers. The conductor and his staff were friendly and on arrival allowed Dan's nephews to carry in his coffin. The service went as well as could be expected. We was also given time to take some of the flowers to place on mum and dad's grave. On behalf of all of Daniel family we

I just wanted to say thank you for all that you did with my nan. You helped my uncle arrange the funeral and I know he appreciated that. We came to see her, Joan you was so warm and caring. The order of service booklets were wonderful and thank you for making my last memory of seeing my nan a fond one filled with love.

My resident was picked up from Camberwell Lodge Care Home in the least dignified way! The undertakers were too quick, pushed the body and not carried them - despite there being two undertakers! Then put them on the side walk in a residential area with a school around! I called them straight away and they said they would call me back - they had not! We usually recommend Albins and Udens - use them for dignified care for your loved one!
