From our first call right through to the conclusion of the funeral the team from Dunphy were compassionate, empathetic and professional. At no time did we feel pressured into "upgrading" the funeral package or to buy more services from them. We wanted a simple basic funeral which they delivered faultlessly. The celebrant they recommended was superb and spend a great deal of time listening to stories and crafting the eulogy. We cannot speak highly enough of this local family firm.

We used William Dunphy as the funeral director for my aunt, and I wish we had not used them. In the process of organising the funeral itself, they seemed indifferent about providing a good service to us, and I had to take the initiative to make sure the right things were done at the right times. But the biggest cause of upset was the pre-existing headstone for my uncle, to which we needed to add my aunt’s details. They lost the headstone and were completely ineffective in solving the problem. After many months of frustration, I found a way to bypass this company and resolve the problem myself.
