I have never left a review on Google before but felt that given the outstanding service provided by Clare Cornwall (Funeral Service Manager)that I needed to do so on this occasion. From the first time we met Clare after Mums passing she was simply amazing. Throughout the whole process of arranging the funeral through to interment of ashes Clare was always available to provide help and guidance. Her level of efficiency and willingness to help was exemplary. Clare is an absolute credit to Francis Chappell and I cannot thank her enough for the service provided at what was a very difficult time.

The service I and my family received from Clare at the Woolwich branch of Francis Chappell was more than excellent. We not only experienced what one would expect from a funeral director but much, much more. Clare communicated not only with us but helped with dealing with the cemetery transfer of grave ownership, contacting the coroner and was most understanding and supportive after I suffered a heart attack during the process.
It's just a pity that I can only give five stars!

We had the most amazing care and support from Clare, from the first moment we contacted right up to today. She couldn’t have been kinder or more reassuring - it really felt easy to just let her lead the way and know you were in safe hands.
Siobhan on the day of the funeral was equally incredible, being such a calming presence (even when there was a moment where it looked like there’d be no priest!) and so genuine in her compassion. We got a lovely framed photo on the day, which was unexpected and really touching.
