My Dad organised a funeral plan many years ago through Dignity. At the time it was needed, the team at Gilderson and Sons were outstanding in all aspects. Caring, professional, efficient and extremely communicative. At such a time, you need people and places like this to make the process as easy as it can be and I can not recommend them enough.

I would like to thank Gilderson & Sons — especially Rob and Mary — for the exceptional support they provided during our recent bereavement. They showed genuine empathy throughout the entire process, explained everything clearly, and took care of every detail with professionalism and care.
Their compassion brought real comfort to my family at a very difficult time, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a caring and reliable funeral service.

Both of my parents took out plans with Dignity long before their passing for a no attendee service. My dad's passing was handled by a different directors while by the time of Mum's passing Gilderson were then the alloted company. While dealing with death is never a pleasurable experience i couldn't have been happier with Gilderson. I had the absolute privilege to be guided through the process over the phone by Mary and in person by Jade and every interaction was handled with both care and professionalism. I had a last minute change that required a little bit of digging and and extra phone call

At a time of bereavement and confusion, Gilderson's sympathetic manner and clear helpful communication eased myself and my brothers through the loss and cremation of our dear mother.
A special mention must go to Mary at Ley Street Ilford. Thank you for your patience Mary.

Being Sikh, we wanted an element of our Sikh tradition entwined into our funeral service. Mary introduced us to Deepak.
On our first meeting with Deepak, he greeted my Mother with the utmost respect and compassion calling her Biji. That touched me immensely. His interaction with us was at a pe
