Throughout the entire process it felt like being cocooned in warmth whilst managing the practicalities necessary after the passing of a loved one, and coping with grief. The family felt completely free to create the funeral we wanted, whilst being supported all the way. At the same time, Poppy's was also prepared to actively take the stress out of it all. I have been describing my husband's funeral to friends as 'as perfect as it could be'. Many factors contributed to that, but a key one was the way Poppy's dealt with everything and everyone. I can't praise them highly enough for their sympathetic handling of what was a very difficult time for the family. And not just the funeral itself, but the run-up to it (they arranged for me to have some quiet time in the mortuary alone with my husband, which was very special) and since the funeral. Their staff are all so caring, professional and thoughtful.
They are open, honest and transparent about the care of their deceased and will be open to any questions you may need answered.
Their offices are bright and welcoming and their mortuary is in the most beautiful building with a family room adjacent.
