The North Nineteen is located in a quiet residential area sandwiched between Holloway Road and Hornsey Road in Upper Holloway Islington. The nearest Tube is Archway, it’s a ten minute walk to get here.
This pub was originally called The Enterprise, built in 1866. The pub was located close by and was demolished by either regeneration or a WWII bomb. The pub was rebuilt and relocated in the early 1960’s.

One of my favourite local pubs. Great staff, a fantastic landlord and landlady, a real local vibe, dog-friendly, with an awesome terrace and a huge image of the UK's only honest politician on the wall. What a great boozer!!

This is a local pub for local people. Don't let that you off though: they're friendly and accommodating even to those of us who don't usually venture here. There is the roof top terrace (in-out or through the gents!!) and the bit out front. There is the pool table, and darts. And music / open mic. There is the friendly bar staff and the locals. An ok selection of drinks and tellys for those all-important games. What's not to like?!
