We were appalled by the ‘service’ we received. We were sat in the corner window on the high street with the blinds half open in view of passers by. We weren’t offered any condolences or sympathy. We weren’t offered any refreshment, not even a glass of water.
Everything seemed to be a problem or restricted by company policy. There wasn’t any flexibility in the funeral packages on offer. We couldn’t get out of there quickly enough and subsequently went to another funeral company who were so much more helpful kind and understanding.
I wouldn’t ever recommend the Co op to anyone even though we’d u
