Awful experience, minimal contact, family left chasing arrangements right up to the day before the funeral, made the entire grieving process more stressful and difficult. Although in the end another branch supported us and the day went smoothly, so I would personally suggest this isn’t a coop thing but within this specific branch!! Avoid it at all costs.

The complete incompetence of Co-op Funeral-care
The arrangements for my mother's funeral were: that my mother's coffin, along with the close family's flower tributes, should be brought to the church BEFORE all mourners arrived and that it be taken away to the crematorium AFTER all mourners had left. None of this had happened.

Absolutely appalling customer care from start to finish. We’ve had multiple last minute calls from this office claiming we haven’t done something by a deadline we knew nothing about. On the rare occasion we’ve actually been able to get through to someone in the office, insensitive comments have been made about the deceased and immediate family. The final straw has been learning they’ve not collected the ashes from the crematorium when the funeral was held two weeks ago, and the only way we found this out is by going to the crematorium ourselves.
