I'm not reviewing the service etc as I didn't attend any. I visited purely because it was open.
They do seem to have daily recitals (free) and services. Check what's on, on the website.
I found it to be a beautiful and relaxing space. Lovely stained glass and dark woods with the entire building beautifully maintained.
The Tower Chapel is for the Royal Marines. There is a second chapel of a military bent but I don't know if it is for a specific military branch or purpose.
There were some lovely old flags, and archaeological remains dating back to The Great Fire and before.

I imagine if you want to pray you could go to Guildhall and make a whole day of it, along with seeing all of the paintings at the Guildhall Art Gallery.

Went for a free lunchtime church organ concert. The acoustics were very good. However, sitting still for 45-50 mins on very hard wooden benches was a little uncomfortable. Interior was also a bit chilly so I kept my coat on. February 2026.
