I brought in an old watch that belonged to my mum as the strap had been broken for a long time due to a missing pin. We’d already tried several other shops but no one could help because the watch is quite old.
Neil was absolutely brilliant, he took the time to properly look at it, searched for the right type of pin, and managed to fix it. I honestly couldn’t fault the service. He was so helpful and patient, and it meant a lot to get my mum’s watch working again.

Very smooth key cutting experience. Locksmith Joey was welcoming and friendly. The whole process was very quick, taking around 2 minutes. The pricing was also transparent: £9 for the key and £30 for the fob. Happy to recommend.

I have been a loyal customer at this Timpson branch for years, specifically because of Stephen. His work is always professional, meticulous, and he clearly understands how to handle high-end designer footwear. I’ve always trusted him with my most expensive shoes.
However, the service when he is away is abysmal. Last week, I brought in two brand new pair of Dior shoes for soles, and they were damaged by the temporary staff - name is Joey. Terrible place, the store manager Steve badly scratched my watch during an attempted repair, and denied doing so. After 4 more visits and long journeys travelling to the shop he eventually provided a partial refund although this didn't cover the original watch purchase value. This place is a joke and run by cowboys and I'll not return again.

Got rubber soles added to my wedding loafers here. The left sole was nearly fully off within a week. I had it redone at the Timpson in Edinburgh but then the right one instantly came completely off.
For the last couple of months I’ve had no sole on the right and a very floppy one on the left and the leather soles of my best shoes are now very uneven and in terrible shape.
