Mum passed away on 23rd February and, in accordance with her wishes, I arranged a direct cremation the following week. I chose the Co-op because I thought they had a good reputation and the price was competitive. The funeral director who I dealt with at this stage was pleasant and she did advise that direct cremations usually take longer than traditional funerals. I didn’t hear anything for a week so visited the branch again. It appeared that nothing had been organised and I was told that the funeral director was waiting for paperwork, in fact all the paperwork had been submitted to them e

Poor communication. Funeral took a long time to arrange, I know there were system issues but service was poor and very slow.
