Food was truly incredible, melt in your mouth stuff! (we had the steak & ale pie, sausage & mash, and the trout) .

ONLY thing… we drove and was a nightmare to park as all resident permits around.. out of their control!

Spent a couple of really lovely evening here, the staff are always friendly and the vibe in the pub is always amazing. Good music, great wine selection and the food is fantastic! Brought my family here on a Sunday and enjoyed the ultimate roast, 3 different cuts of meat and all the trimmings. You can tell the yorkies are homemade they are huge and so delicious!!! Will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful Sunday roast lunch with my family. I had beef which was succulent and tender with a delicious selection of veg and fab roast potatoes. We sat by an open fire so lunch felt like experiencing lunch in a country home. Great atmosphere and super friendly and attentive staff.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday, as we arrived early it was quiet. The service was quick and attentive. We had two main dishes, the venison pie with mash and cabbage and the pork with cavolo nero and asked to swap the mash for the chips as we were sharing. The meat was tasty, the pie was not too big and the chips were trippled cooked that made them crunchy 😋🍟.
