Lovely place. Nice village and a lovely massive beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk down to the beach, there is parking if you want to drive. Staying in a log cabin nearby, would definitely return. Not everything open this time of year but makes no odds to us.

It's a neolithic burial chamber - of course it has five stars,! There are two burial chambers next to each other which seems highly unusual. Access is up a short path, bit of a hill but very manageable. There has been some reconstruction but only to stabilise. Beautiful setting and in early May lots of bluebells.

Did a huge walk on Sunday and eventually found four burial chambers , this was the last and best
We came down the hill to the site after following non extinct , paths , going through fields and going through herds of sheep and not seeing a human for 3 hrs , ( like from some episode of the walking dead) . I was so glad when I saw an actual path ( thought it was a mirage ) and a human , telling us , the way to go lol
, all in all , a great Sunday adventure

Not too far from the road. Follow a small track up past the school. There is a sign telling you a bit about the place before you get to the actual stones. The doorways themselves are well preserved but the mounds and any other structure is long gone. If you are near by, it's worth spending fifteen minutes to walk up and take a look

This is a very interesting site. It's free to visit but a little difficult to find. Google maps will take you there, but you will need to park at the church hall and walk up the path to the right side, past the school. Only a small walk. Quiet site and we'll worth a visit.
