★★★★★ We were lucky enough to join the Mausoleum tour, which offered the opportunity to go inside the Mausoleum. The Mausoleum must have been an impressive sight when first built. Now, unfortunately, the external facades, ballastrade, and steps are crumbling away. However, the inside is relatively well preserved. The catacombs are interesting to visit. At least £20 million is needed to restore this magnificent building. Let's hope the money can be raised as it would be shame to lose this building.
