I must admit I never thought I would leave a review for a Funeral Director, but after having an absolutely awful experience with another Funeral Director - I just had too!
Edward Carter Funeral Directors were absolutely amazing from my first panic phone call wanting to change from my original choice of Funeral Director to them. They took charge immediately. I was impressed by their reassurance, professionalism and attention to detail. I couldn't fault their service in any way. The service they provided was very personal and caring and I felt they treated my Mum with the dignity she so deserved

My father passed away a few months ago and we chose Edward Carter as a member of the family had experience of using them before. The person who visited the house was well dressed, appropriate in his manner and really put us at ease. My mother simply chose what she wanted from a catalogue and there was no up-selling or pressure at all. On the day, the staff were exactly what was needed. They were almost invisible and carried out their jobs swiftly and with a lot of dignity. Can highly recommend the team.

A family run business (with 'retired' father still helping with Services), the personal Service starts on the first phone call, then with a very informative Consultation on what you need for your Funeral.
