My wife passed away at home and so i need a funeral director, I contacted Stephen and he gave me the reassurance I needed which came through in his softly spoken voice.He came out immediately and talked me through his role at this stage.
I felt Judy was in good care which took a large weight off my shoulders. .We had the service at home in the garden and l prepared the eulogy which Stephen delivered in his softly spoken voice ,.he made it so unique and personal.
I know between myself, friend Sheila and Stephen we gave Judy a send off which I am proud of.

I have no hesitation in recommending Stephen. This was ‘a complicated funeral’ with a pre-cremation service at Stephen’s chapel of rest, an unaccompanied cremation and a memorial service at the Care Home over a three day period. It fully met our expectations. Stephen was efficient, responsive and unobtrusive. Mum would have been delighted with the way it went, especially the rousing Methodist hymns and the Hokey Cokey!
