I feel so lucky that an online search led me to South West Cremations. We wanted a Direct Cremation for Mum and having used a similar service many years ago thought we knew what to expect. Not so! The care, compassion and little extras from Julie and the team were way beyond our expectations from start to finish. Clear information, a caring and compassionate attitude and a sense of humour when required all made the arrangements very easy. Having the ashes hand delivered to my door was a lovely touch too. I have nothing but praise for everyone concerned- thank you all.

When I was informed that my mum has died and it was no ordinary situation, I was feeling awful and unnerved. However, I knew I needed to start looking for a cremation service, as in the past she had expressed her wish to be cremated and for her ashes to be burried in her birth country. It is always hard to trust someone with caring for your loved ones, but what made it even harder was the fact that I am in Cambridgeshire and she lived right where Devon meets Cornwall, so I was not able to go and choose funeral directors in person. I can not recommend this company enough, from the very first phone call to the very final steps both Marie and her brother Gary were completely amazing. They made the most difficult time in our whole life's more bareable. They gave advice but never crossed a line, they honoured every detail we asked for, nothing was to much to ask even out of normal work hours. Marie was a massive support, very gentle and warm.
