Following the death of my father recently, our family called on Stoodleys for help with arranging his funeral. The help and support we received from Tracey was second to none - she really could not do enough for us. Considering some of my father’s wishes for his funeral were slightly ‘out there’, nothing was impossible and too much trouble. The funeral itself was the best we could have hoped for as a family, and the perfect send-off for my beloved dad. Colin is also a dab-hand at editing photos! Dad had already sorted his funeral and this was his funeral director of choice, dad spoke so highly of all the team having got to know them over the years. From the first call to the team I can see why.
Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, no question was a silly one and the level of compassion shown was amazing.
Dad died out of area, but it was no problem for him to be collected and we received a phone call when he was back in their care.

We hoped of course that we would not be writing another review so soon following the death of Roy in early July. Very sadly, his beloved wife and my wife’s s dear sister Maureen died nine weeks later. Stoodley was our natural choice for the funeral arrangements. As before, Colin was wonderful in the way that he took all the stress out of the planning for us. Once again we had Julia Ford as the celebrant for the funeral, who we highly recommend.
