We have never had to organize a funeral before. Luckily our relative had taken out a funeral plan with Dignity. Marilyn G has been the lady at Alfred Connock funeral directors who was our main contact. Marilyn has been absolutely outstanding with her understanding and care for us. Whatever our wishes for our relative were, she outlined clearly and sensitively what we could do. It was also difficult for us to do some things as we & the rest of our family were not local to Somerset. From day one of calling on the services of Connock funeral services, i had no cause for concern or apprehensions as the company carried out their duties very efficiently and professionally from start to finish. The funeral was prepaid but any departure from the original plan was catered for by adjusting fees upwards or downwards to accommodate amendments or additional requests i.e. the change from a minister to a celebrant, flowers etc. The day of the funeral went according to plan and efficiently carried out even with allowing two family members to be pall bearers Very pleased.
